Anime based on Kairi's manga adaptation of Suisei's light novels debuts in 2026
On Saturday, Crunchyroll declared that they would be streaming the anime adaptation of Yūsha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Itanode, Kokuhaku Shite Mita ( There Was a Cute Girl in the Hero's Party, So I Tried Confessing to Her ) light novel series in India in 2026. Additionally, the series will have its Japanese debut in 2026 as well.
Kairi 's manga adaptation is credited for the original work.
In this narrative, we follow Yōki, a person who has been brought back to life in a magical realm. Unlike other individuals who get another chance at existence as a hero or villain, Yōki finds himself serving under the demon lord. When the hero's group attacks the demon lord's stronghold, Yōki is present to defend it. However, when he encounters Ceclia, a member of the hero's party, he experiences instant romantic attraction.
The series stars Kōhei Amasaki as Yōki and Kana Hanazawa as Cecilia.
Yasutaka Yamamoto serves as chief director for "Medalist" and "Servant × Service," while Tomonori Mine directs "Isekai Onsen Paradise." Yukie Sugawara handles both writing and overseeing scripts for "Overlord" and "No Guns Life." Mina Ōsawa adapts La-na's character designs for animation in "The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest," while Satoru Kōsaki and MONACA compose music for "BEASTARS" and "The Apothecary Diaries." Ryō Aizawa serves as producer for "Isekai Onsen Paradise" at Starry Cube.
In 2013, Suisei started the series on the Let's Become Novelists website. The most recent update was made on June 12th. Futabasha began printing the manga with illustrations by La-na in October 2014, and released the third volume in August 2015.
In 2021, Kairi introduced the manga version of Gaugau Monster on Futabasha's website. As of July 30th, they have released the 12th volume of the compiled manga.
