Aniplex Reveals Inherit the Winds Original TV Anime
Tomohiro Kawamura directs anime about Shinsengumi at Live2D Creative Studio, Drive Inc.
On Saturday during the Aniplex Online Fest, it was announced that there is a new original TV anime series called "Inherit the Winds" (Kaze wo Tsugumono).
In the Bakumatsu period in Kyoto, during which time Japan was undergoing significant changes, a soldier who has lost his recollections is assisted by Sōji Okita, a renowned member of the Shinsengumi. Sōji Okita dubbed this individual "Junsuke Tachikawa," marking the start of his new life among the Mibu soldiers.
Yutaka Narui and Azuki Mashiba collaborated on the creation of the original story for the anime production. Tomohiro Kawamura is directing the anime at Live2D Creative Studio and Drive Inc., while Narui is also responsible for writing the scripts. Fumi Ebina is designing the characters, and Shigeru Kishida is composing the music for the anime.
